We're not a big box store. We never will be.

Black Anchor Armory was built on a simple idea: that buying a firearm should feel like talking to someone who actually knows what they're doing — not waiting in line at a counter where nobody knows your name.

We're a Maryland licensed FFL/SOT dealer in the heart of Downtown Historic Denton on the Eastern Shore. We proudly serve hunters, collectors, competitive shooters, first-time buyers, and law enforcement professionals with the kind of personal service you just don't find at the big retailers.

OUR STORY

Black Anchor Armory opened its doors in 2016, born out of a simple observation: the Eastern Shore was underserved when it came to quality firearm retail and FFL services. Already running a small business out of our Denton storefront, we expanded to fill that gap — becoming the local FFL dealer the community had been missing.

From the start, our goal was to carry inventory you couldn't find at other area shops, and to welcome firearm enthusiasts of every kind — whether you're into handguns, long guns, tactical builds, collectibles, or anything in between. Ten years later, that mission hasn't changed.
